I too am lukewarm about Bloom! Eh. Living Dead Girl was so freaky I don’t even want to lump it with the other E.Scott books, but I’d say it’s at least worth picking up. I too want to give her other books a shot – I put a couple on hold, so hopefully they’ll pack a little more punch than Bloom?

Jessica, I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who didn’t love Bloom. Makes me feel not crazy, or not *as* crazy. Keep me posted on whether you find another Scott book that you end up liking more, willya?

And I stand in the minority of the commenters with my huge ‘I LOVE BLOOM’ flag. It’s my favorite ES book. But I do have to say that I gave it three stars the first time I read it and then I rediscovered it months later and loved it.

But I do love it intensely now.

I liked Bloom a lot.
Not so much for the writing but somehow, it stuck with me.
i think my favorite book of hers would have to be Love You, Hate You, Miss You.
