Nicole, it’s always so hard to figure out *why* I haven’t connected to the characters, y’know? I’ve noticed the alternating narrators issue as a pattern for me and whether I connect with them, but there are other situations where it’s not as clear to me.

For the book you just read, was it alternating narrators too? Or is there another reason you felt you didn’t connect with them? I’d love to learn from you so I can keep an eye out in my own reading in the future!

Lenore, if you do give it a go, I’ll keep an eye out for a review because I’m curious what you’d think of it. I haven’t seen many reviews of it yet. I think I will still give others by E. Lockhart a try because I loved Frankie soooo much.
