Book reviews & writing tips from a wannabe YA writer

Can You Trust Me?

The world has oodles of book blogs, so I have a really hard time deciding which blogs to subscribe to. It can take a long time to get a feel for a blogger’s taste in books. I’d rather know upfront whether my taste is compatible so I can focus my limited blog-reading time where it will count.

If you feel the same way, here are a few ways you can check our compatibility:

  • Log into Goodreads and compare our taste.
  • Browse my 5-star reviews to see if you’ve loved what I’ve loved.
  • Check out my list of top 10 favorite YA books below.

Hopefully, one of these methods will give you a sense of my taste and help you decide whether this blog is a good fit for you.

Kelly’s Top 10 Favorite YA Books

  • Feed by M.T. Anderson

  • How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff
  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta

Have I made some grievous error and left something out? Maybe I haven’t read it yet, so educate me!
